Specifications, designs, finishes and prices may change without notice. Where a discrepancy arises between this website and the version of a kit produced in our workshop, the order confirmation and proof signed off by the customer prevail.

Site Content Protection

All content on this website — including but not limited to 3D motorcycle models, configurator templates, design renderings, vector files, base SVGs, illustrations, logos, photographs, source code, fonts and proprietary design-system files — is the protected intellectual property of Backyard Design GmbH or its licensors.

The fact that a file is technically retrievable through a web browser does not transfer ownership or grant any licence. Visitors are permitted to view the content only for the purpose of evaluating and purchasing Backyard Design products.

The following are expressly prohibited:

· downloading, copying, reverse-engineering or re-using our 3D models, configurator templates, base SVGs or design files;

· scraping, automated harvesting or systematic extraction of data from this website;

· re-uploading, redistributing or reselling our content on third-party platforms, including print-on-demand and stock-asset sites;

· using our content as training data for artificial intelligence or machine-learning models;

· removing, altering or circumventing watermarks, file hashes or any technical protection measures.

This website is actively monitored. We operate behavioural-analytics, asset-fingerprinting and hash-based detection to identify unauthorised use of our materials. Identified infringers are pursued through:

· civil claims for injunction, damages and account of profits under § 97 and § 97a of the German Copyright Act (UrhG), § 1004 of the German Civil Code (BGB), section 96 ff. of the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and 17 USC § 504 in the United States;

· criminal complaint where applicable: § 106 UrhG (up to three years' imprisonment), § 107 of the UK CDPA 1988 (up to ten years' imprisonment for distribution in the course of business), 17 USC § 506 in the United States.

Bike-brand names, logos and model designations referenced on this website — including but not limited to KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, Fantic — are the trade marks of their respective owners. Backyard Design GmbH is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these manufacturers.

These references are used solely to identify the bike model for which a graphic kit is intended (fitment reference). They do not imply any commercial relationship.

Rider names, team names and event names are likewise the property of their respective owners and are used factually for editorial purposes only.

Customer-Uploaded Content

#

Our configurator allows customers to upload their own logo files, race numbers and personal designs to be printed onto the kit. By using this feature, the customer warrants that they are the rightful owner of, or have a valid licence to, every element of the uploaded content.

Backyard Design GmbH does not pre-screen, review or moderate every uploaded file. The customer is solely responsible for the legality of what they upload, including any third-party trade marks, copyrighted images, personal-rights material or unlawful content.

Backyard Design GmbH reserves the right to cancel an order at any production stage — including after payment — where there is reasonable suspicion that an upload infringes third-party rights or breaches the terms of use. Paid amounts will be refunded subject to any provable third-party-claim costs.

Reporting an IP Infringement

If you believe content printed on a Backyard Design kit infringes your intellectual property rights, please see our IP Notice and Takedown Policy for the procedure to follow. We respond to substantiated notices on business days.

Product Images and Colours

#

Photographs, renders and configurator previews are intended to represent the final product as closely as possible. Printed colours may differ slightly from on-screen colours due to monitor calibration, lighting conditions and the behaviour of our vinyl finishes.

Slight variations between batches and between individual finishes (gloss, matt, soft-touch, velvet) are normal and not a manufacturing defect.

Fitment Responsibility

#

Kits are produced to fit a specific bike model, year and plastics manufacturer as selected by the customer in the configurator. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm the correct selection before approving the proof.

After-market plastics, modified bodywork and unofficial body parts may not match the supplied templates. Backyard Design GmbH is not liable for fitment issues arising from incorrect customer selection or non-standard parts.

Installation Responsibility

#

Installation of vinyl graphics requires the use of a heat gun. A regular hair dryer will not generate sufficient heat. Installation instructions are supplied with every kit.

Backyard Design GmbH is not liable for damage to vinyl, plastics or paintwork resulting from improper installation, use of unsuitable tools, or removal of the graphics by the customer or a third party.

Statutory Rights

#

Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes the statutory rights of consumers under applicable law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the German Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch (BGB) provisions on consumer warranties, and equivalent consumer-protection legislation in other countries served.
